We want to thank all of you for the wonderful dinner and generous
gifts you gave us as we depart on our next journey. We go with great love for our family at Hope and with saddness of the departure,
yet excitement that God is calling us in a new direction. At this time of so many mixed emotions in our lives it was wonderful
to experience such an upbeat, extremely humorous evening. The feast from the entrees and salads to the huge cake and desserts
was amazing. We were deeply touched by the words and poems of Stella Cooley, John Maakestad and Beaty Graves. The “roasting”
by such talented people in creative skits was delightful. (Is there a drama group in the making?) The songs by 60/40,
Calvary Chapel and the Hope Choir were music for our souls. All the letters, comments and remembrances shared by those present
and far away will be treasured in our hearts. As we go forward we will carry with us your kindness, loving support and most
important your reflection of a community of faith in God. Our prayer is that God will wrap each of you in His loving arms and guide
you onward in lives of faithful servanthood and devotion to our risen Lord. May God richly bless all of you today and in the
days to come. You will forever remain in our prayers.
