Harvest of Hope

Started in 2015, this labor of love has grown in acreage, produce and volunteers. We begin planting seeds indoors starting in January or February, and plants move to the ground as soon as Anchorage spring allows it. During the summer months, volunteers work in the garden at all times of the day, and we also gather together for a weekly "Garden Party" on Wednesdays from 5pm-6pm to weed and work on other projects.

All produce is distributed through organizations such as Lutheran Social Services of Alaska, and Beans Cafe.
